Miss Refugee Utah is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering refugee women and fostering positive change in their communities. As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners to support our programs and initiatives. Our mission is to create opportunities for young refugee women to develop leadership skills, celebrate their cultural heritage, and advocate for meaningful causes. All contributions directly support our efforts to provide a platform for education, advocacy, and community engagement, ensuring that refugee women have the tools they need to thrive and make a lasting impact
Pageant
Eligibility
- Participants must be residents of the state of Utah.
- Participants must be refugees.
- Participants must be pursuing, planning to pursue, or have pursued higher education (Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).
- Participants must be between 18 and 28 to compete for the title of Miss Refugee Utah.
- Participants may be married, divorced, widowed, or single with children. However, participants may not be pregnant during the competition or throughout their reign; if this occurs, they must relinquish their title.
- Participants must be assigned female at birth.
- Participants must execute all necessary consents and contracts before the pageant.
